A Hat in Time (Windows, Mac OS X)/Modding Tools Content/Unused Graphics/Materials/The Arctic Cruise and Nyakuza Metro
This is a sub-page of A Hat in Time (Windows, Mac OS X)/Modding Tools Content/Unused Graphics/Materials.
The Arctic Cruise
An early version of the guidelines used during Ship Shape. The material is transparent, is not in a chevron shape, and is much brighter than the final version. Uses an unused texture.
A material relating to Time Stop, according to its filename. Unknown purpose. Although not shown in the GIF, looking at it from skewed angles increases the density of green squares in the material immensely.
Nyakuza Metro
Three unused hologram advertisements. The graphics are not unused, but these advertisements never appear in these colors in the level.
A material for some kind of hologram arrow, of which there is no asset for in the Modding Tools. Uses an unused texture.
A material for a Metro Cat NPC's eye. Their eyes are stored in the main diffuse texture in the final game, so this early design isn't needed.
An unused material for a floor design.
An unused, densely-tiled purple metallic material. Unknown purpose.
A solid green color material with slight transparency. Filename indicates it was meant to be a distorted glass effect for an elevator.
An unused hologram texture for somewhere in Bluefin Tunnels.
A material for a minor detail in Bluefin Tunnels.
A placeholder material for a hexagon floor pattern.
Two materials for tunnels and floors.
A material effect for mist, intended for the manholes according to the filename. Neither the final version nor the unused older version of the manhole's particles use this effect.
A blue version of the hologram map seen in some areas of the metro.
Some decals used in the level have unused material versions. The appearance is otherwise identical, however. This is the case for a couple other decals, too.
An unused material for the floating departure signs. The filename suggests this was to be used by the signs that can be used as a hook point, but the ones in-game just use the normal material for departure signs.
An unused red version of the early version of the texture for the departure signs.
The unique materials used by the unused, early intro room found leftover in the Modding Tools.
A minor mud detail that could've been used just about anywhere in the metro, although it was more likely to have been seen around the larger mud puddles in the level.
A test material for tunnels, according to its filename.
An unused variant of the material used by the money pile in the Storage Room in the Spaceship.
An unused pink glass material, likely meant for Pink Paw Station somewhere.
Placeholder materials for the various posters seen around the metro.
An unused material for a 'pool sign', according to its filename.
A densely-tiled green metallic material, meant for tunnels according to the filename.
A material meant for an area with water in the metro. Unknown purpose.
