Misc./Unknown
Some models are too generic or vague to determine a specific level to put them in. Others just don't have a known purpose. Vanessa's Curse models are also listed here.
Megaphone Model
An untextured megaphone. Purpose unknown, but could've worked in Deadbird Studio.
Community Stamp System Polaroid
A polaroid, meant for the scrapped Community Stamp online mode that Habboi described in his developer playthrough of the game.
BB Cube
A grassy cube, found in its own package, AHatinTime_BuildingBlocks. The dirt material on the model has a unique and strange effect of the texture following the camera and not remaining static on the model. It's unknown what purpose this model served, but it might've been used to prototype stages during development. The entire package has long since been removed from the Modding Tools.
Snowman
A cute little snowman. This was used in a holiday screenshot from Gears For Breakfast during development of the game, but they never actually show up in the final game.
Wheat
Wheat. This model has long since been removed from the Modding Tools. Its purpose is unknown, as it was found in the generic foliage package. Its import year is late 2015, so it might've been meant for Mafia Town or even Subcon Forest. Its material uses a shader animation to make it sway back and forth a little in the wind.
Light
Volumetric Cloud Model
A model used for volumetric fog.
Unused Barrel Debris Piece
Unused Padlock Debris Piece
Crow Agent Seam Test
Deadbird Cubemap Room
Given the filename, this model was likely used to get cubemaps for either Deadbird Studio or Deadbird Basement.
Flying House
The weird, floating model seen in the sky of Mafia Town in the Beta builds. Heavily resembles Glitzville from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
Placeholder Airmobile
A placeholder model for the Airmobile.
Fog Test Models
Metro Geometry
Internally called "hab_is_dumbass". Given its appearance, it was meant for something in one of Nyakuza Metro's tunnels.
Jiggle Test models
Models used to test jiggle physics.
Murder on the Science Express Layout
A single model that was used to show the basic layout of Murder on the Science Express.
Smoke Plume
A generic effect model that simply went unused.
Stack Test Model
A test model for carrying stuff in Ship Shape.
Planet Mountain Test Model
Test for the Alpine Skyline models that would be added to the planet model and replace the Sand 'n Sails area.
Wood Plank
A wooden plank. ....Yay. Filename indicates that it's a test model.
Ambient Occlusion Test Model
A model used to test ambient occlusion.
TexProp Cubes Merged
Merged TexProp Cubes. Unknown purpose.
Tube
A very big, very tall, very high-poly tube.
Water Test Models
A model to test for fog underwater? Its purpose is not clear.
Vanessa's Curse Models
Bow Kid Punk Outfit Head
An unused unique head model for Bow Kid when she wears the punk costume. Compared to her other hair styles that appear similar to this one, her hair curls in the front are longer and her hair in the back extends out a bit further.
Old Basement Slide
An old, untextured version of the secret basement slide. This version has only one entrance to it, and is much smaller and shorter than the final version.
Old Tomb Model
An older version of the tomb model outside at the front of the manor. Is higher poly than the used version, but less detailed.
Unused Grass Sprite Models
Two unused flat grass models. Vanessa's Curse doesn't use this kind of grass anywhere, and instead goes for a completely different kind of stylized grass.
Old Bookshelf Model
An older version of the bookshelf model in the library. Is lower poly than the used version.
Garden Stairs Models
Two unused models for the stairs in the garden area of the manor. The first one is three stair models merged together, which goes unused because the stairs used in game are part of a different merged mesh. The second model is a modular version of the stairs, and was likely used to create both of the aforementioned stairs models.
Placeholder Diner Room Ceiling
An old, placeholder model for a ceiling in the diner area of the manor.
Unused Ice Cube Models
Two unused ice cube models. There's actually three, but the third one is just an exact copy of the first one, but is a skeletal mesh instead of a static mesh. The second one is a bit curious, as it was imported after the DLC released. What it was intended for is unknown, but it's possible these ice cubes were related to the frozen solid head Ice Hat flair.
Small Ledge Piece Model
A small ledge piece model. Could've worked in numerous areas of the manor.
Placeholder Unfinished Library Walls
Almost definitely placeholder models for walls of some kind in the library. The texture mapping on the models maps the book texture on all sides of the meshes, making them looking rather strange.
Modular Diner Room Pieces
Modular model pieces that were used to construct the merged meshes used in the diner room of the manor.
Modular Library Platform
Much like the above, this is also a modular model that was used to make a merged mesh in the library.
Modular Manor Hallway Piece
A basic modular piece of a hallway that was definitely used to make merged meshes for the various hallways inside the manor.
Unused Out of Bounds Mountains
A gigantic unused mountain model that was meant to surround both the lobby area and the manor. Might've gone unused because due to the lighting and dense fog in the level, it's nearly impossible to see the model normally, from both the lobby and the manor.
Unused Dead Tree
A variation of the trees in the garden area of the manor without any leaves. Those types of trees do lose their leaves during the Flash Freeze wheel event, but they don't use this model; they just change their leaf material to be invisible.
Unused Flat Crown Model
A flat crown model that looks like the crown symbol seen on various parts of the manor, especially in the garden. Could've been a modular version that was used to construct the merged meshes.
Habboi
Habboi, the lead 3D artist for the game, made a lot of....interesting models over the course of the game's development. Most of them are related to ARG games he'd do. Many of these models are of his own custom, unofficial character, Moleman. It's best to try not to make sense of these too much, as they can be very abstract and almost nobody knows what the true purpose for some of these models really was.
Moleman
Moleman and several variants wearing a hat and cloak.
The hat that Moleman sometimes wears. The second image refers to the hat as the "Time Lord Hat".
Models that resemble level design. Some of these were used in his own mod levels on the Steam Workshop.
