Beehive Models
Beehive models, used for the scrapped Beehive actors meant for Subcon Forest. The hooked version is used until the hive is hit once, then it uses the other model. The material used by the hive has a drippy, goopy-like effect, similar to Shapeshifter's body.
Placeholder Subcon Well Chest
A placeholder model for the unique chest that appears in Subcon Well. Unlike the final version, the lid and bottom half are both one model. Its texture is slightly messed up, due to its texture being overwritten by the one used by the version of it in the final, which had its UVs remapped.
Original Dweller Cage Models
The original design for the dweller cages seen at the Toilet of Doom arena. In fact, it is this design that appears on the titlecard for the Toilet of Doom! There are two versions: a skeletal mesh version and a static mesh version. The skeletal mesh version has two animations for swinging back and forth, and one for being used as an attack during the Toilet of Doom boss fight. It also just so happens to use the graphic for the player's hookshot chain from pre-release builds before the Speedrun builds.
Skeletal Mushroom Model
A skeletal mesh version of the mushrooms encountered in Subcon Forest.
Manor Trigger Model
A model that appears to have been used as a trigger of sorts on the first floor of Queen Vanessa's Manor. Its exact purpose, however, is unknown.
Alternate Grandfather Clock Models
A version of the grandfather clock on the second floor of Queen Vanessa's Manor, but with its clock hands detached and separate from the main model. It's possible that, originally, the clock hands would actually spin around instead of remaining motionless.
Manor Shower Door Model
A door meant for the hole on the left side of Vanessa's shower. In all public builds that contain Queen Vanessa's Manor, the shower's left side is wide open. Note: although it cannot be seen in the image, there is glass between the top and bottom parts of the door.
Prototype Spike Arena Models
The spike arenas for Subcon Forest seen in footage of one of the Prototype builds of the game.
The collision model used to trap the player inside the arena is present as well.
Beta Toilet of Doom Boss Models
The splash model used by the Beta's version of the Toilet of Doom boss fight.
The sinking platforms from that version of the boss fight are also here.
Static Mesh Bonfire Trail Models
Static mesh models for bonfire trails in Subcon Forest. In the final game, all bonfire trails are dynamic spline actors that can be adjusted to wherever they need to point to.
Unused Mail Delivery Package
The only unused package when delivering mail in Subcon Forest. It's a brown mushroom with some pictures attached to it.
Snatcher's Books
Books meant for Snatcher's bookcase at his home, which are normally empty in the final game.
Realistic Toilet Models
A realistic-looking toilet and chain, meant for Subcon Forest. Specifically, in the Prototype build, this was to be found inside the old Toilet of Doom.
Toilet Slam Model
A puddle of bad chocolate. This model and its material have long since been removed from the Modding Tools. Used in the Alpha's version of the Toilet of Doom boss fight.
Placeholder Leaf Platform Model
A placeholder model for the leaf branch platforms in Subcon Forest. Used in a couple unused prefabs for Subcon trees.
Subcon Cave Models
A whole bunch of early cave models. Some may have been intended for Subcon Well, while the purpose of others is not so clear. The last model pictured above was used in Sand 'n Sails around the Starting Village.
Cherry Blossom Cluster Model
Lots and lots of flat, pink flowers, called cherry blossoms internally. This model can be seen in a pre-release screenshot.
Manor Bathtub Model
An untextured, rough model for a bathtub in Vanessa's Manor. Can be seen in concept art and a very early cubemap for the shower room, which is present in the Modding Tools.
Mirror Stand
An unused version of the mirror used in the hallway on the first floor of Vanessa's Manor. It is newer than the model used in-game, and is higher-poly than it, too. It uses a unique texture that is, however, lower quality. The shape of the wood at the top of the mirror is different, and the mirror itself is more round. The knobs on the drawers are also more defined and use a wood texture instead of a metallic gold. The cracked appearance of the mirror is part of its texture, while the mirror in the final game uses a scene capture material on the mirror glass to reflect models in real time.
Manor Exterior Wall Model
A model that was meant to show walls on the exterior of Vanessa's Manor, likely while the player was inside. It could've created an effect of actually seeing the textured outside part of the manor while being inside, something that no known version of the level does at all. Outside the rooms on all floors of the manor, it's always depicted as pitch-black darkness.
Manor Chest
A chest, meant to appear in the shower room in Queen Vanessa's Manor. Was present in the Alpha and Beta builds before a frozen Tim the Time Lord took its spot in the final game.
Manor Exterior Railing Piece
The only unused piece of geometry that is used to construct the outside of Vanessa's Manor. A different wall is used in its place.
Third Floor Entrance And Exit Models
Two pieces of the inside of the manor, meant for the entrance and exit for the scrapped third floor. The remnants in the final, as well as the Beta and Alpha builds, just use pieces from other floors for the entrance and exit to the floor. Note that the exit model's texture on the walls doesn't line up with the stairs correctly.
Manor Modular Rug
A modular rug meant for Queen Vanessa's Manor.
Placeholder House Model
A placeholder version of one of the houses that appears near the green bonfire in Subcon Forest.
Unfinished Platform Model
An unfinished version of a mossy platform in Subcon Forest.
Dweller Tree Platforms
Trees meant for the enclosed area near the green bonfire in Subcon Forest. They have a dweller material applied by default, directly indicating their purpose.
Cave Grate Model
A large ring, intended for somewhere in Subcon Well. It can be seen being used in Pumping Pumpkin Factory in the two developer playthroughs.
Unused Cave Level
An absolutely massive and complex model, which depicts a cave level that was completely scrapped from the final game! Its intended textures are not known, but it may have had an appearance similar to Subcon Well. Interestingly, the structure on the right resembles the design of the towers seen in the background of Subcon Forest, which may suggest where this cave was meant to be relative to the rest of Subcon Forest.
A water effect model, meant for the large, unused cave level design model seen above.
Subcon Swamp Wooden Platform
A type of path most likely intended for Subcon's swamp.
Subcon Village Ladders
Two ladders meant for Subcon Village. Can be seen in concept art.
Toilet of Doom Arena Candle
A candle meant for the Toilet of Doom arena. The only candles that are used in the arena are the variant that's already partially melted.
Mushroom Tree Platforms
Mushrooms that were meant to be placed on the giant tree at the start of Subcon Forest.
Dirt Path Model
A dirt path model for the path that leads to the snowy area of Subcon Forest. In the final game, a bridge took its place.
Old Toilet of Doom Terrain
Terrain for the original design of the Toilet of Doom area of Subcon Forest, before a pit was added between it and Subcon Village. Can be seen in some pre-release footage and screenshots.
Old Mushroom Tree
The original design for the giant mushroom tree at the start of the level. Can be seen in numerous screenshots and pre-release footage.
Eye Plane Model
A simple, flat plane with blinking eyes on it, meant for Subcon Forest.
