To do:
  • Document the demo, which has a couple of differences from the final game.
  • Provide images of regional differences.

After Apollo Justice, Miles Edgeworth gets to star in his own game, in which the final case drags on forever.

Unused Track

This music is not used in the game, nor is it in the official soundtrack. It was likely removed for having a ridiculous RPG feel.

It also has the track "Mask☆DeMasque - Please Listen to Meeeee!" from the third game. It was most likely intended to be used in the context of DeMasque II who appears in the game.

Regional Differences

In the Japanese version, the airline iFly Airlines is named "GoYou". Amusingly, the English version mentions GoYou as being one of the rejected names for the airline.

In the Japanese version, Ambassador Palaeno collects Japanese souvenirs and displays them in the secretariat's office. In the English version, they're American souvenirs. This extends to the uniquely-shaped note paper, which is shaped like Mt. Fuji in the Japanese version, and a butte from Monument Valley in the English version.

Unused Graphics

Colias Palaeno has a very... odd sprite which goes unused in the final.

Unused Logic

The game includes some unused logic pieces. These pieces were not translated in the US and European versions.

EP. Logic Translation
AAI Case 3 Criminal.png
Where was the criminal hiding?
There is no place to hide in the corridor. If there was a criminal, I would have noticed it.
AAI Case 3 Corridor.png
L-shaped corridor
With a mirror trick it looked straight, but the corridor was L-shaped.
AAI Case 5 Chimney.png
Chimney as fire source
It seems like only the chimney was able to be the source of fire in this office.
AAI Case 5 Counterfeit Note.png
Someone tried to burn a counterfeit note
The purpose of the fire was to destroy counterfeit notes, and the source of the fire was a green flame.
