Alien Syndrome is an NES port of a game originally by-*record scratch* SEGA!?!?

Also, it's only licensed in Japan. Go figure.

Level Select

At the title screen, hold Down on controller 1 and Right on controller 2 at the same time, then press Start.

Unused Graphics

Nothing funny about being unused

Graphics for "H" and "A" items that never appear anywhere.

Oh, get a habitation chamber

An unused frame of animation from the ending, showing the two heroes in a kiss as in the arcade version. The final game simply has them looking off into the background for the whole sequence.

Hidden Text

The game looks for the text string OKABE at RAM address $100 to determine whether the game was soft or hard reset. It refers to programmer Naoki Okabe.
