In 2021, Piko Interactive acquired the rights to re-release the game on the Evercade. However, they couldn't get the rights to Barkley's likeness. Consequently, the Evercade version is retitled Hoops: Shut Up and Jam and replaces him with Joe Hoops, represented by a stock photo of a scowling Black man pasted over the athlete's face.
