Bayonetta/Unused Rooms
This is a sub-page of Bayonetta.
This article is a work in progress. ...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes. |

The WiiU and PS3 version both have a lot of unused rooms, some are early versions of locations we visit in the final game while some are test rooms. In the WiiU version, these early rooms are located in: data01.cpk/st0/ Some of these rooms have Japanese text presumably written by the developers, they range from textures indicating the start of a chapter (chapters are referred to as "missions"), textures indicating the solution to various puzzles and even an entire early escape sequence featuring Bayonetta escaping lava and crumbling paths in the Vigrid metro!
Room 00a
room 00a contains a T shaped hallway.
Room 00b
room 00b contains 5 planes with a wall, 4 cubes and 3 spheres. Above each plane is written HDRIR SCR02 and SCR01 trugh 03.
Room 00c
room 00c seems to be an entrance to a building.
Room 00e
room 00e consists of a cube in a plane.
Room 0a1
room 0a1 contains a bunch of background geometry, a few houses connected by archways and the Arc de triomphe. There is no collision in this map.
Room 0c0
This is an odd one. It does not match Bayonetta's artstyle at all. This is in fact another leftover from MadWorld. When forced to load in-game, the map doesn't fully load. It also has no collision.
Room 0d0
Another odd one. This seems to be an extremely early version of the Ithavol group tower. More interesting however is the inclusion of a cylinder depicting Buddha from the Buddhist religion. This is extra odd because Bayonetta has a Christian undertone to her.
