With 3rd style, IIDX started to walk further and further away from beatmania, with a brand new direction for both music and artwork.

Unused Graphics

Song Selection Screen

Amidst SEL16.MGP lie several unused title graphics:

IIDX3-rocket.png
These two graphics are reminiscent of the changes done to beatmania IIDX 2nd style when it was released in Korea. In regards to this game, however, it doesn't seem to have been released outside of Japan.

This graphic, however, is more intriguing. Tomoyuki Uchida (a.k.a. Mr.T) would not appear in a BEMANI title as a composer until KeyboardMania 2ndMIX, with the song Ride on the Light, a remix of which would later appear in beatmania IIDX 5th style.

Title Cards

CULCUT.MGP and DONTEP.MGP, the graphic repositories of songs Odoru! Fukujinzuke (CALCUTTA) and dong-tepo no.1, still have graphics for title cards which reflect their appearances in beatstage II 2nd style.
