Bloons Monkey City for mobile devices (now also on PC) is the remake of the fan-favorite Adobe Flash city builder-style Bloons TD game. Take the city of your bloon-popping army on the go while enjoying many core features of its source material, along with some gameplay elements and the visual polish of mobile Bloons TD 5.

  • Several leftovers from BTD5 Mobile:
    • Special agents (Banana Farmer is used)
    • Premium items
    • Specialty Building effects
    • Monkey Lab powers
  • Unused items:
    • Portal Artifact; has four duplicates, like the flash version
    • Bloonsday Device as an item? Appears among the text for the other items
  • An unused test bloon. it looks like a red bloon, but behaves like a zebra bloon.

Unused Tracks

Forgotten Garden

An unused Special Mission map called Forgotten Garden. It is a 10-round Yellow Sneaky Camo tile with an internal difficulty of 6, meaning it will start out as a Very Hard difficulty and appear very close to the center of the city. Round 10 will always spawn 5 Leads. Bloons cannot be attacked while under the glass, much like the line of sight mechanic in BTD6. Completing this mission rewards the Heart Fruit.

This map would later be implemented into Bloons TD 5.

Battles Font

A debug font file found in Assets/Fonts/Low. The same file can be found in Bloons TD Battles and Bloons Tower Defense 5.

Heart Fruit

Completing the also unused Forgotten Garden rewards the Heart Fruit, which gives +10 starting lives.

Unused Music

Unlike the Adobe Flash version of the game, the mobile version does not play a special music track during a Monkey v. Monkey battle. Despite this, the music file for it does exist.

LoseSound.wav

Unlike the Adobe Flash version of the game, the mobile version does not play any music if the player loses in a terrain. Despite this, the sound file does exist for it.

A set of unused track difficulty parameters found in data.jet\Assets\JSON\Terrain\TrackDifficulty.json. The IDs of these tracks correspond to some of the tracks in Bloon Dunes, a second city found only in the Adobe Flash version.
