Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition is the definitive edition of Borderlands which was released as the 10th year anniversary of the franchise. Besides all of the quality of life improvements, this remaster includes an overall texture upscale, the four main campaign DLCs of the original game and was also ported to eighth-generation consoles.

Unused Videos

The old Gearbox intro movie from the original game is still present in the game but was renamed as Gearbox_logo_720p_v1.0.bk2.


This movie is a duplicate of the loading screen of "The Underdome" from the original Borderlands.

Unused Text

  • All of the unused text strings from the original game remain so.
  • All text strings referencing the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are now unused in this game.
