At the title screen, press I, Right, Left, II, Up, Select, Down to access a hidden options menu containing a level select, difficulty toggle, and sound test. Highlighting the latter and pressing Right, Right, Left, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Select, Select adds an invincibility toggle to the menu.
