Simultaneous Opposite-Direction Glitches

In the initial release version of Kero Blaster, there are no checks in place for when the player holds opposite directions on the computer keyboard. When holding opposite horizontal directions, the player will face right but move left. On the other hand, holding opposite vertical directions while on a ladder will allow the player to climb up infinitely. This was likely overlooked due to the game being simultaneously developed for PCs and iPhones, the latter of which uses a touch screen control scheme.

Ladder Climbing Visual Bug

When the player starts climbing or reaches the end of a ladder, they will revert to the standing frame for one frame. In version 1.0.6.3, this frame will incorrectly always be green even if the player is in New Game Plus/Omake Mode. This was fixed in all future versions.

Kuro Blaster Early

1.0.6.3 - 1.0.7.3 1.4.0.0

In earlier versions, due to an oversight by the developers, it's possible to obtain the Level 1 Kuro Blaster from OXOX Hotel in Normal Mode. Normally, the player does not have the Jetpack at the beginning of the stage, but by reloading the boss room after obtaining it, backtracking, then getting a Game Over, the player will be able to jump over the building and enter the Kuro Blaster room. This not only allows the player to get the Kuro Blaster early, but also obtain lots of money early and easily, due to the presence of Walking Black enemies that drop coin bags when defeated.

Starting in 1.4.0.0, attempting to do this trick will instead result in the appearance of Mizutani having some tea on the roof, who, when interacted with, chides the player for attempting to sequence break.

N577 Early Boss Rush Kill

In pre-1.4.0.0 versions, it's possible to kill N577 in the boss rush before the battle even starts. To do this, as the player teleports away from the Dekaigyo boss fight, hold the jump button and move left. Shortly after the player teleports into the boss room, the player then must thrust using the jetpack to reach the top of the boss's enclosure. From there, using the Level 2 Kuro Blaster with allow the player to defeat the boss without initiating the battle, or even resuming the timer, allowing for a fight that technically takes zero seconds.

Back to the Office Omake Mode Graphical Error

Normally, the graphics of Stage 7 are covered in black tar, but in Omake Mode, the tar is removed to reflect the fact that Omake Mode takes place after the Negativus Legatia were defeated. However, at some point the script command that caused this change to happen stopped working, resulting in Stage 7 looking the same between Normal and Omake Mode.

The sprites used by Nanao while sitting inside the hotel at Destination incorrectly use a blue hair color, as opposed to the normal teal.
