Build Your Neobot is a rudimentary artillery tactics game. The player builds a Neobot by mixing and matching Body, Legs, and Head parts from a robot Aisha, Eyrie, Grundo, Acara, Jubjub, Scorchio, and Skeith, all while staying within budget constraints. Once the Neobot is built, it's off to battle against other Neobots for a total of five levels.

There is no record of when (or if) this game was added to or removed from Neopets. It simply rests within the Neopets database.

Filenames

The aiming graphic is internally referred to as wormsArrowLinkage, giving us some insight into which game the developers were inspired by.

Unused Graphics

Image 77, Image 80, and Image 83 depict the Attack Pea, Kyrii Power Puncher, and Battle Dung weapons respectively found on the Neopets website.

DefineSprite_68_defaultchest, DefineSprite_70_defaultfeet, and DefineSprite_72_defaultdome appear to be placeholders for the Body, Legs, and Head parts respectively.

DefineSprite_87_TeamGreen and DefineSprite_89_TeamRed are a green dot and a red dot, which implies teams might've been considered during development.

DefineSprite_168_arrow and DefineSprite_170_arrowLinkage are unused arrow graphics.

DefineSprite_196_selectionPromptLinkage, DefineSprite_210_ItemTwoLinkage, and DefineSprite_212_ItemThreeLinkage appear to be crude placeholders for the menu UI.

DefineSprite_214_bombLinkage is a copy of the Rocket weapon used in the final game, but squished down.

DefineSprite_221 is a horizontal variant of the health bar. In the final game, all health bars are vertical.
