Clock Tower II: The Struggle Within is a spin-off of the series that follows the story of Alyssa Hale/Yu Midoshima, a girl who is occasionally possessed by an alter ego named Bates/Shou.

  • The Japanese version has a purple mist/smoke effect behind the logo on the main menu (probably referring to the girl's alter ego?).
  • Bates/Shou has a serious girl voice in the Japanese version. The English version changed this to a deep male voice.
