This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a remake of the PlayStation original which adds tracks and characters from Crash Nitro Kart, vehicles and skins from Crash Tag Team Racing, and various other elements from the rest of the Crash Bandicoot franchise.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Unused models, such as early versions of the Nitro Squad.
  • Unused levels files, such as the ones for the CTR TV set (found in earlier revisions of the game).
  • Unused animations, such as Sumo Papu Papu’s victory pose.
  • Debug functions.
  • Prerelease article covering scrapped skins?
  • Add any other changes.

Cut Characters

By datamining the PS4 and Switch versions, you can find a list of all the characters in the game (labeled as "Driver[Character]"), including those who have been cut from the game. These include (all listed as written in the files): WillieWumpa (from Crash Tag Team Racing), Ripto (from the Spyro series) and Sorceress (from Spyro: Year of the Dragon). These are no longer considered as "upcoming" characters, as 1.20 was confirmed to be the final major update to the game.

As an aside, Gnasty Gnorc is erroneously referred to as "GnastyGnark" in the game's files.

Retro Stadium

Retro Stadium is an exclusive track in the PS4 version of the game, but data for it seems to exist in other versions as well. chunksinfo.pak contains track data, and this file in the Switch version includes Retro Stadium (T155_Sony_Stadium).

Revisional Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
Other systems' version numbers, and version numbers for subsequent updates.
