Introducing Dance Dance Revolution 2ndReMIX, now with eleven more ways to look ridiculous in front of no one. Hopefully.

Unused Graphics

NOTE: All of these graphics can be found within READ_DT.BIN.

Background Animations

Found in some songs' data areas are textures that are either unused or that have unused palette configurations.
Note that this does not considerate both of the Append Club Version releases.

  • Internal label: 1MDAN_16
  • Songs
LOVE
PUT YOUR FAITH IN ME
PUT YOUR FAITH IN ME (Jazzy Groove)

While this texture is called by these three songs, it is always completely obscured by a different graphic.

Boy

Textures for a scrapped "boy" dancer, which are also found unused in the original Dance Dance Revolution home release, are loaded with the sprites of character KONSENTO:02.

Pad

This graphic, found within the pad model textures, was seen in the arcade release in its CG test. However, it is not seen here.

Debug Function?

When the game boots, before the warning screen is displayed, press the Start and Select buttons simultaneously 15 times. If done correctly, you will hear the insert coin sound, the game will immediately load the menu screen instead of the health and safety screen, and everything will be unlocked. Curiously, this code also allows for three glitched messages to be displayed in the Information Menu, all with the same garbled content:
