Released as part of Takara's PlugIt! series, Dance Dance Revolution FamiMat is quite a peculiar release. Its default songlist is composed of tunes from several pop'n music games, although it had compatibility for special cartridges (the Platinum Cartridges, also compatible with the e-kara karaoke system and Popira), which allowed gameplay of more songs.

A logo for Daiichi Kosho's DAM karaoke software, which is never displayed. It is likely this company was involved with the creation of the song renditions used in the game. The palette is unknown.
