Level Select

At the title screen, press Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Right, Up, I, II, Left on controller four (thus requiring a multitap). A sound will confirm correct entry. Start the game, and the level select will appear after the opening cutscene. Also of note is that the level select will still be enabled if the game is reset.
