Unused Cutscene Images

There are eleven images meant for the cutscenes. Only the last four images show up when beginning a game. The rest of the seven images are completely unused. In the final game, all other cutscenes take place with dialogue boxes (except for the intros and endings).

Use one of the Game Genie codes below to replace the first in-game cutscene picture with one of the unused pictures:

  • Picture 0: AENUPTYA

Devil Man (NES)-cutscene0.png

  • Picture 1: PENUPTYA

Devil Man (NES)-cutscene1.png

  • Picture 2: ZENUPTYA

Devil Man (NES)-cutscene2.png

  • Picture 3: LENUPTYA

Devil Man (NES)-cutscene3.png

  • Picture 4: GENUPTYA

Devil Man (NES)-cutscene4.png

  • Picture 5: IENUPTYA

Devil Man (NES)-cutscene5.png

  • Picture 6: TENUPTYA

Devil Man (NES)-cutscene6.png

These images appear to be traced straight from the manga. All of these show bosses being defeated. (The codes above affect PRG ROM address 116f9.)
