Double Dragon Neon is a remake of the original arcade classic with an extra dose of 80s cheese. Bro-tastic!

Save File Icons

Just like DuckTales Remastered, the game has a few placeholder PNG save file icons. The game can save five different game profiles, but these icons are never used.

Unused Sounds

marian_gethit_exertion_04

This sound clip was meant to be used at the start of the first stage, in the only time Marian is ever hit. In the final game, she only faints and slumps over before being carried away.

beatbox_01

...I don't even know where to begin.

nesmode

Possible remnants of something scrapped early in development?

weapons_grenadebeep_01

Grenades use a different beeping sound, so this is never used.

Early Music

Fairly rough versions of two songs are still in the game.
