So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

The second of the three Super Famicom "super battle" games improved on the first with better graphics, nicer sound, faster gameplay, and the ability to slowly... very slowly... charge one's ki energy at will.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Regional differences.
  • There was a revision prior to the Virtual Console release.
  • This game has a debug mode which triggered on older emulators.

Extra Characters

Press Up + X + Down + B + L + Y + R + A when Gohan is flying during the intro to unlock Son Goku and Broly in non-story modes.

Virtual Console

Hmmm...
To do:
Rip/compare the SFC and re-release soundtracks.

A version was released for the 3DS Virtual Console as an Amazon-exclusive pre-order bonus for Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden.

While the gameplay seems unchanged, it received a completely new soundtrack due to a scandal with the original composer, Kenji Yamamoto, where it was discovered that most of his music was derived or plagiarized from existing commercial music.
