Dragon Warrior VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past was the nearly forgotten remake. They did forget the orchestra. Oh well.

Nearly all of the orchestrated music from the Japanese release was replaced with sequenced equivalents. Some of the orchestrated music tracks are leftover in the US release.

In addition to this, the English version has one extra piece of music.
