Electronic Arts throws its hat into the game compilation ring with a selection of some of their Genesis and SNES titles, from classics like the Road Rash trilogy, the first two Strike games, and Mutant League Football to oddities like Haunting Starring Polterguy and B.O.B. to the iffy console ports of PC classics like Wing Commander, Syndicate, and Ultima VII... and more.

Unused Music

One of the most infamous aspects regarding this collection is that, for whatever reason, the versions of the three Road Rash games on this collection lacked the original soundtrack (though pre-release trailers did feature the original BGM), instead featuring a selection of songs from the first three Need for Speed games (most infamously "Feta Cheese" from Need for Speed II, as it's used for 90% of Road Rash and all of Road Rash II). However, it does seem that they planned to have more of them, as the eatrax folder inside the game's USRDIR/data/ folder, besides featuring the tracks that are already used in the game (whether in the Road Rash titles or on the EA Replay menu), also has various unused songs, which also originate from the first three NFS titles.

Regional Differences

The EA Extras menu features trailers for Madden NFL 07 and NHL 07 in the US version. These are absent from the European version, leaving the Extras menu an even poorer sight with only the credits present.
