EekoWorld |
---|
Publisher: PBS Kids This game has unused text. |
This game is defunct. Do note the game no longer works at all without modifications. This is most likely due to the game's servers being shut down (as of 2018). As a result, further official developments with the game are unlikely to happen. |
EekoWorld was a Flash site from PBS Kids comprising two games about conservation and the environment:
- EekoHouse, a getting-ready-for-school simulator that teaches kids to make environmentally-conscious decisions (because, as we all know, schoolchildren are the largest contributors to climate change).
- EekoCreature, which let you create your own creature, choose its habitat, and watch it interact with other kids' creatures. Sadly, an ecological disaster in 2018 caused a mass-extinction event.
Placeholder Text
At one point, the site had a dictionary feature where you could learn the definitions of words like "wilderness", "endangered species", "environment", "pollution", etc. This is placeholder text for where the definitions would go.
This is apparently placeholder text for where the dictionary words would appear. The SWF contains three of these placeholder texts, all identical to each other.
