The PS1 port of Final Doom is, compared to the PS1 Doom port, sorely lacking in content, only featuring 17 levels from the PC version's 64. 13 levels from the Master Levels For Doom II PC expansion are included to bring the total level count up to 30.

On the plus side, this was the only console version of Final Doom until 2012.

Unused Monsters

The Spider Mastermind is listed in the ending's Cast of Characters and all of its sprites are present in the WAD, but it isn't used in any of the levels.

Unused Graphics

None of the unused stuff from Doom was cleaned up, but the ENERGY texture was utilized.

A hanging lamp, which doesn't really fit Doom's style at all.

Textures

IDWALL. The WOOD06 texture with two id logo posters slapped on it.

PSXDOOM WARN.gif
WARN. Two switch patches from the PC version, which interestingly aren't used on any switch textures in this version, repurposed to make warning lights.

WMSWALL. The WALL21 texture with a Williams logo. This was used in the Club Doom secret level in Doom, but goes unused in this version.

Flats

ENERG. Flat variant of the ENERGY texture, which is still unused in this version.

WMSGATE. A teleporter, based on the GATE name, using the Williams logo.

Skies

The game contains eight different skies for usage on the levels. Some of them were in use in the previous Doom for PlayStation.
