Unused Text

Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: See if it can be activated. (Supposedly it does, according to Xenn on US ROM.)

Present at 0x1CEC0 in the ROM is this string of unused text:

DEBUG MODE

Regional Differences

  • The Japanese version has a save feature which was replaced by a password system in the international versions.

  • Aside from the "PRESS START BUTTON" prompt, the title screen was noticeably overhauled for the international releases; the title screen car was changed from a R34 generation Nissan Skyline GT-R to a Honda S2000.
  • Like the game it was inspired from, the Honda NSX and Honda Integra Type-R were branded as Acura models in the American version of the game, although the Integra kept the JDM headlights.
