...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • File paths
  • There is a hidden command that unlocks Free Programming mode without having to complete the first tutorial.

After many years, Nintendo finally decided to let players create their own games without getting DMCA'd for it, with Game Builder Garage (which may be Nintendo's answer to Dreams, which may have also been Sony's answer to Microsoft's short-lived Project Spark).

Of course, it's a revamp of the Toy-Con Garage VR (or VR Plaza) from Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit with new Nodon including textures, touch position, absolute value, and more. And the ability to share your games online or to other Nintendo Switch systems.

Unused Sounds

The Sound Effect Nodon was going to have more sounds in the list that are left over.

Name Sound Comment
Bzk_Zmb_SE_Shot_B.bfwav
Along with the White noise and Announcement sounds, the Blaster firing sound (A SFX 2) is included as a leftover from Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit.
Plz_JGL_GameClear.bfwav
An early You did it! (High C SFX 3) that is used in Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit.
Plz_SE_SoundModule_4_01.bfwav
The Falling sound (C# SFX 4) too from Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit.
Tpb_JGL_SEnode_Jingle_1UP.bfwav
An 11th Jingle 1-Up that was forgotten to add in the list.

Oddities

The sound named Power down in-game is internally named Plz_JGL_GameOver which was originally going to recycle the B SFX 3 sound from Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit.

Internal Project Name

According to multiple strings and the executable named that way, it appears Babel (which is named for the Labo series) or Babel_Tpb is the internal project name. As a reference, Cvr for most models (including the Characters and Fancy Objects ) that are carried over from the VR Kit are used.
