SOMETIMES I SEE A TEXT BOX AND I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSSDFGFFDHFGDJGGFSHGDFH
This page sucks.
If you could make it suck less, that would be awesome.
Specifically: Images lifted from a modded copy of the game, JPGs, bad grammar, general rule breaking, and a whole lot more.

Gears of War: Judgement was the first Gears of War game that Cliff Bleszinski had no involvement in, filled with questionable gameplay changes, character design alterations and more.

Unused Videos

A video meant for the screen at the end of each section. The final game uses a semi-transparent background instead.

A placeholder cinematic.

Chairman Prescott song

The Chairman Prescott song from Gears 3 can be found in the files for Level AFTERMATH-2.

Unused Characters

Gears of War 3 Leftovers

Clayton Carmine

Clayton Carmine from Gears of War 3, who is missing his tattoos for some odd reason.

Alicia Valera

Leftover from Gears of War 3, who was a placeholder for Sofia Hendrick in early builds. Uses Damon Baird's model and placeholder icon.

Michael Barrick

Another Gears of War 3 leftover, which uses the same model and icon.

Flame Drone

Yet another Gears of War 3 leftover with the same characteristics, who has a placeholder description saying "Test-DCP". Only remnant of Locust in multiplayer.

Developer Only

Grayson Hunt and Trishka Novak

Characters from the game Bulletstorm, they were made available to developers only.

EPIC REAPER

This character was only made available to developers and some high-profile community members. He is special as he has a unique moveset. Re-uses Kantus voice & grunts.

Placeholder Character

Hmmm...
To do:
Grab Image of said Character, Can't find clean one atm

Unused / Placeholder / Dev Only Weapon Skins

It can be hard to tell if the camoes with the omen icon are unused or developer only, as the omen icon is used for the "I Made This!" dev only medal.

Hmmm...
To do:
Get descriptions for Toxic Waste and Hot Rod

Placeholder skins

3 identical skins with placeholder icons that change nothing about the gun.

White Ivory

Identical to the chrome skin although has a low quality texture

Nightmare

An identical skin was added as a free bonus for buying the Call to Arms DLC, was renamed to Chlorophyll.

Jumanji

Appears to be identical to Giraffe skin from Gears of War 3.

Null

Appears to be a joke skin for the game as the description reads, "Wait...What? How did you get this?"

Lambent

A near-identical skin was added in a 2018 update to Gears of War 4, although that game added a glow effect to the skin.

Hot Rod

"get all the ladies"

Flames

Not to be confused with the "Flaming" skin from Gears of War 3

Cob Web

The texture Doesn't seem to be mapped to the weapon properly, as it only covers half the gun

Toxic Waste

Paint Ball

Multi-colored splats.

Molten Steel

Has a very basic description, "Hope you have gloves its gonna get hot". Has no punctuation.

Doritos

Contrary to the skin name, this skin is actually a Copper skin.

Zebra

Identical to a skin in Gears 3 of the same name.

The 2nd Zebra

Identical to the Zebra skin. Seems to be a joke skin for the game.

EPIC

A much different Epic Games skin from Gears 3. The description gave me quite a chuckle though, "Thanks for helping build the best Gears game yet."

Revisional Differences

Prizebox behavior

Originally, opening prizeboxes would 99% of the time give you useless XP instead of the stuff you actually want (skins). Title Update 2 fixed it.

Oddities

Scrapped enemies

The Campaign stats in the War Journal mention two enemies that are never seen in the game at all, Lambent Drone and Palace Guard. Both enemies are from Gears of War 3, so they're likely leftover or unused stats.

Japanese translation oddity

While the game's Achievements are translated into Japanese, the actual game is not.
