This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

They're going to mess up my fucking tomatoes!

Leftover Graphics

Weapon Icons

A large majority of these could be seen in the E3 2015 demo.

Early "head" Icons

These were used in the beta. They resemble the style "head" from Gears 3.

UE Splash Screen

Do you think locust growl when they have gay sex (the only female is the berserker)

A leftover from Gears of War Ultimate Edition, as they were made at the same time by the developer.

Enemy Head Icons

There are head icons for specific enemies in Horde Mode that go unused in the game, though they would later be used in Gears 5. The Swarmak doesn't have a head icon.

Hammer of Dawn execution

This is normally impossible to see in-game. The animation is reused from Gears of War 3.

Oddities

In 2018, a change was made that removed the Hammerburst as a loadout weapon from Versus, however this change was not made to Private Matches.
