So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Glory of Heracles is the fifth game in the Glory of Heracles series, and the first game in the series to get a western release.

Regional Differences

Careful, you'll lose an eye.
This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.

Several changes were made for the US version.

Text Changes

  • The text stat "VIT" was changed to "DEF".

Gameplay Changes

  • The battle speed is increased significantly, with an option added (holding L or R) to speed it up even more. This was likely done in response to various Japanese gaming publications, such as Famitsu, complaining that the combat felt too sluggish.
  • You can now press Select to initiate auto battle.
  • Under the Options menu, another selection ("Normal") was given to the option Battle Magic Effects. In the Japanese version, you could only select between "Brief" and "Extended" for this option.
  • The Menu option was slightly altered to move the "Camp" option from being at the top to being between "Glossary" and "System".
