Along with its sequel (as part of the package Growlanser Generations), Growlanser II: The Sense of Justice would be the last game localized by Working Designs before their closure in December 2005.

Buttons to activate debug menus and debug displays:

• R3 + D-Pad Up = Sound Test
• R3 + D-Pad Down = Voice Test
• R3 + D-Pad Left = Sound Test (PCM)
• R3 + D-Pad Right = Movie Test
• L3 + D-Pad Up = Debug Time Display
• L3 + D-Pad Down = Debug CCNT Display
• L3 + D-Pad Left = Debug CNT Display
• L3 + D-Pad Right = Debug Friendship Meter Display
• L3 + R3 = All disable

USA exclusive buttons:

• L3 = Movie Test
• R3 = Disable menu

Sound Test

Activating this menu allows you to listen to music, SFX, ambient SFX, event sounds, and various skill sounds.

Controls:

• Press Triangle to change reverb type.
• Press D-Pad Up / Down to change SE modes or changes values by 10.
• Press D-Pad Left / Right to change values.
• Press Circle to enter a sub option or to confirm a choice.
• Press X to go back or exit the menu.

Voice Test

This menu is mostly the same as the Sound Test option, however, this version is for voices.

Controls:

• Press D-Pad Left / Right to change values.
• Press Circle to enter a sub option or to confirm a choice.
• Press X to go back or exit the menu.

Movie Test

This menu allows you to play all of the pre-rendered movie files on the disc.

Controls:

• Press D-Pad Up / Down to move the menu.
• Press Circle to confirm a choice.
• Press X to go back or exit the menu.

Debug Displays

Various debug information can be toggled on-screen with the code from the Debug Menus section. It is unclear what these all mean. You can hold the Select button to temporarily disable them.
