So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Kid Chameleon is a 2D platformer that gets hard and confusing really quick, thanks in part to having a lot of areas.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Per the Kid Chameleon Wiki, there are unused helmet themes that play by editing address 0x1AE51 to 0x18 and 0x21 among others. (The wiki's got a lot of juicy info like this.)
  • Document the prototype.

Unused Teleporter

KidChameleon MysteryTelepad.png

At the end of the Crab Cove level is a teleporter, underneath the steel bridge, which can be seen by holding Down to pan the camera downward. While there is no way to access it without hacks, the teleporter is set to take you back to the beginning of the level.

Guess the graphic artist really phoned this one in. You come and go, you come and gooooooooooooooo~

The Japanese version moved the graphics on the title screen around a bit. The background gradient was also lightened, perhaps to make the graphics stand out better.
