In a similar matter to Wario Land: Shake It, many text between the NTSC and PAL releases of the game are different.
Any names after the "/" are UK names.
Lines in which its only differences is having British terms will be mainly omitted. Such examples include:
- Not adding a serial comma before "and" or "or".
- Not adding a dot after an abbreviation (For example, writing "Mr." as "Mr").
- Adding a comma or a period outside of quotation marks rather than inside quotation marks.
The US release uses a narrator with an American accent, while the European release uses a narrator with a British English accent. One example of a script change between releases is Kirby saying that the grass in Patch Land feels like "pants" in the US release and "trousers" in the European release, due to differences between American and British English ("pants" in British English refers to what Americans would call underwear).
