LEGO The Incredibles
LEGO The Incredibles |
---|
Developer: TT Fusion This game has unused playable characters. |
LEGO The Incredibles is another entry in the LEGO game series and is incredibly odd in that you play through the second movie before the first.
In case a ton of content from that duology isn't doing it for you, it also features one character from each Pixar franchise up to that point, and the Luxo Jr. mascot, as unlockables.
It's showtime!
Contents
Unused Graphics
Character Icons
NPC Icons
Goon Icons
Some goons are playable, but usually only a single variation of one. The other unplayable variations do have icons however.
Boss Titles
Alternate designs for the boss logos are leftover in the files.

Save Icon
An early version of the save icon is leftover in the UI_FRONTEND folder.

Level Thumbnails
LEVEL_SELECT_IMAGES
There are unused thumbnails for individual sections of the levels, and are at varying degrees of polish. In the final game, only one thumbnail is used. (The A version)
UI_STATUSSCREEN
Unused level icons intended for the status screen.
Ninjago Leftovers
Icons from The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame are leftover in the GUI/BLEND/UI_FRONTEND/IMAGES folder.
Unused Characters
Blitzerman, a character very briefly featured in the first movie as one of Syndrome's victims for Operation Kronos.
BRADBIRD
Brad Bird, the director of both Incredibles movies.
JOHNLASSETER
John Lasseter, the former CCO of Pixar and executive producer of both Incredibles movies. Between this and Brad Bird, it would seem TT Fusion wanted to include the people behind the Incredibles movies as playable characters, in a similar manner to Steven Spielberg's appearance in LEGO Jurassic World. They most likely nixed the idea after John Lasseter's departure from Disney and Pixar following sexual misconduct allegations from several employees.
KUBRICK
The late director Stanley Kubrick. He doesn't seem to have any ties to Disney or Pixar, so why he's here is anyone's guess.
MR_INCREDIBLE_VIGILANTE_MASKOFF
Mr. Incredible, seemingly how he appears during the scene from the first movie where he gets back home from the burning building.
Unused Bosses
An evil scientist boss, with "Electrobot" goons. ELECTROBOTGOON02 is actually used as the generic Robot character.
Slugger
A baseball themed boss. Unfortunately whoever the Slugger is will remain a mystery, as only the goons are leftover.
An evil farmer. Also known as FARMERBOSS within the files.
Unused Models
Alternate Woody Head
Woody has an unused variant of his head which is based on the moulded headpiece found in the 2010 Toy Story 3 LEGO sets. It's split into two models in the files; SKINNEDHEAD_WOODY and HAT_WOODY, which is odd given the actual piece this is based on can't be taken apart. The final version, which is based on the Toy Story 4 sets released the year following this game's launch, has the filename of HAT_WOODY2019.
FACETEX_TPAGE_WOODY.TEX
There is a set of expressions for it as well.
Unused Text
TEAMSHEET.CSV
A spreadsheet containing credits for each level of the game. There are "Cutscenes" and "Notes" columns but they are empty so they are removed from this table.

Oddities
Level Order
As seen in the "teamsheet" above, the levels are actually internally numbered in chronological order, implying at some point in development you would have played through the first movie's story before the second's. The final game swapped the order to 7-12, then 1-6.
Internal Name
According to scripts, the internal project name of the game is Project Showtime.
