League of Legends/Closed Beta 1

To do: Get Client screen (if possible), HUDs, placeholder screens, etc.

General Notes

Client version 0.8.13.26.

• Contains data from internal and historical builds of the game.
• Contains virtually no air client data (missing due to human error?).
• Has numerous extra character models for testing and placeholders, many of which are duplicates.
• All particles in \DATA\Particles use TGA format (this will carry over until public release).

Client and Client Launcher

To do: Find a way to view the post-login client screen.

HUD

The HUD has changed many times over the years, but many were not that drastic. This was not the case with the betas.

• HUD has 2 iterations in the betas.
  • HUD2 is the one used in both Closed Beta 1 and Closed Beta 3.
  • HUD1 is a leftover from the internal pre-beta builds.

HUD 1

There is a second Target HUD which has slots for items, but is hidden in the data. It's a step between HUD 1 and HUD 2.

HUD 2

This HUD is easily mistaken for a similar, less flashy HUD, but is in fact much different.

Beardless Gangplank

At this point in development, Gangplank didn't have a beard. This was changed in Closed Beta 3.
