This game was stuffed away in a cardboard box and found 30 years later in a garage
This game was never completed and/or given a public release.
As a result of this, keep in mind that the developers might have used or deleted some of the content featured here, had the game actually been released.

Namco's Famicom version of Millipede, developed by original programmer Ed Logg, started development on March 14, 1986...only to end up being scrapped when Atari Games discovered that the rights to Atari's pre-1984 arcade games were owned by the wholly-separate Atari Corporation.

While they briefly considered retooling the game into an original title with an outer space theme, that version appears to never have surfaced (if indeed it started development at all).

This build was manually compiled from source code (not posted online) by The Video Game History Foundation, and was posted online on June 6, 2021.
