Minecraft... On your PS3! This version has been brought back in Bedrock Edition (PS4) but it’s rarely seen. Also, tutorials.

Unused Audio

There exists 2 unused corrupted cave sounds. The fixed versions are used, and the unused versions were removed in a later update. They can only be found in the base game (1.00)'s Minecraft.msscmp.


There are also 4 unused cave loops from the Java edition of Minecraft, they can only be found in 1.00's Minecraft.msscmp. Interestingly, the waterfall loop is corrupted.

The old explode is still in the game's files.


  • The click sound from Java Edition is still in the game.
  • There is a duplicate crafting failed sound effect located in "Minecraft.msscmp\note\btn_back".

Currently in the game's main resource file, Common/Media/MediaPS3.arc Various of inaccessible menus were retained in latest versions, which were intended for use by the developers.

Unused/Discarted Alliance Mode

There were retained unused text lines at the localization file, languages.loc, for a supposed "Alliance" mode on the Battle Minigame,some of these written for variable interpolation format, and they are translated on all languages.
