Mini Vaders is a simple game that was installed in Taito's universal arcade cabinets to make them "complete", as Japanese laws at the time required all arcade cabinets to come with a working game. It's a set of eight Space Invaders challenge stages, sans score and sound.
Unused Graphics
As can plainly be seen on the title screen, this game does not use the original thin font from Space Invaders, instead being taken directly from Bubble Bobble/Rainbow Islands.
This includes the arrows that were originally used for the stage editor in the Bubble Bobble prototype...
...and the old Taito logo!
