Unused Graphics

Opening

Unused graphics for Akihiro Yamada and the company Two-Five. While the graphic for the former was scrapped in favor of a larger one, the latter one does not have a final equivalent.

Ending

Earlier renditions of graphics for the ending cutscene can be found within DATA.BIN.

Unused Used
MysticarcPS-text1UNUSED.png MysticarcPS-text1FINAL.png
The text is the same, other than the different spelling of "Show". Visually, the unused graphic lacks a black outline.
MysticarcPS-text2UNUSED.png MysticarcPS-text2FINAL.png
The only change is in the rightmost graphic, which is seen in Lydia's ending. In the unused variant, the kanji 際 [sai (time, occasion)] is erroneously used instead of 祭 [sai (festival)].

DUMMY.DAT is actually an earlier version of DATA.BIN, dated September 20, 1998, which is over four months prior to the final. It contains many different textures, mainly when it comes to the game's intro and ending cutscenes.
