Load Game

This option was added after Volume 2 update and is meant to load save games, but it doesn't do anything, at least on PC. Can be brought back if UI/menu/FrontEnd/Tweakables/EnableMultipleSaveSlots is set to 1.

Unused Cars

2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

The now decommissioned Police Interceptor variant of the Crown Victoria (not to be confused with the purchasable civilian version of the Crown Victoria in the game) that was seen in the previous Need for Speed entries can be found as a leftover and still can be accessed in game.

Unused Voice-Over

Unused voice lines

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Wait for a new Frosty Tool Suite update — most of audio asset containers can't be opened due to incompletion of the tool; or extract them manually.

Placeholder voice lines

Before the game developers cast A$AP Rocky, the game had placeholder type voice lines for the mysterious racer, known as "Talent" during the development.

Audio Notes Transcription
This line was meant to play during the establishment sequence before the takeover. Talent: "In this place, this time, street style... is everything."
Talent: "But listen when I say, greatness must be earned. So, show them how we do in the Lake. Welcome, to the Takeover."
Talent: "This city is your canvas. Paint it with your passion. Burn white hot or burnout."
Talent: "Forget where you come from. Know yourself, show yourself."
This line was meant to play during the in-game cutscene before the takeover. Talent: "Yo, y'all focus up! All eyes on me!"
Talent: "That's right! This is it. Time to see if you got what it takes. Go earn your place among Lakeshore's elite."
Talent: "Ready? Eyes front. Rev your engines. And let's go!"
This line was meant to be played if player finishes in last place. Talent: "Ain't gonna lie, that was terrible. You call that driving?"
Talent: "Yo, you may as well give up."
Talent: "I can't even look you in the eye right now. Shocking. (dismissive laugh)"
Talent: "What the hell were you doing out there?! That was an embarrassment"
Talent: "I don't know how you can show your face around here after that."
Talent: "Yo, you just didn't show up! Next time, bring your A game, playa."
This line was meant to be played if player finishes in second or third place. Talent: "You know, watching that... Less said about it, the better."
Talent: "Don't get too down on yourself! It's tough out there. Remember what got you here in the first place!"
Talent: "I mean, it was good. If you were Driving Miss Daisy."
Talent: "That was... not sure what that was. Maybe give it another try out there."
This line was meant to be played if player finishes in first place. Talent: "Yo, you crushed it out there! That was some style!"
Talent: "Hell yeah! That shit was special! Seeing you out there, couldn't have done it better myself!"
Talent: "Yo, you smashed it out there! Nobody can touch you!"
Talent: "You're making waves out there. The Lake is buzzing! Keep doing what you're doing!"
Talent: "You tore it up out there! That was straight fire!"
Talent: "Yo, you killed it out there! The Lake is on alert!"
This line was meant to be played after the race countdown Talent: "Let's see what you got!"
Talent: "I'm looking forward to this!"
Talent: "This ain't the Takeover now. Show me what you got."

A$AP Rocky's raw voice lines for Takeover cutscene

Audio Transcription
A$AP Rocky: "Check it out, check it out, listen up!"
A$AP Rocky: "Yeah! Now it's time. Next up, it's the test to see who’s the best. Let’s see who got the whole city on lock."
A$AP Rocky: "Rev up! Gear up! Burn out! Let’s go!"

A$AP Rocky's unused voice lines for Takeover results

Audio Notes Transcription
This line was meant to be played if player finishes in last place. A$AP Rocky: "Yo, that was trash bro. You call that racing?"
A$AP Rocky: "Yo, what... What the hell was that? Yo, this is pathetic, yo."
A$AP Rocky: "I can’t even talk to you. That was trash."
This line was meant to be played if player finishes in second or third place. A$AP Rocky: "You know that was.... That was something."
A$AP Rocky: "You know, folks is talkin'. They’re saying you up next. How you feel about that? (laughs)"
This line was meant to be played if player finishes in first place. A$AP Rocky: "All I saw was dust! Way to go! (claps)"
A$AP Rocky: "Yo! That shit was tight! Man, you’re killing it! Keep going, keep going!"

Voice lines in Garage/Meetup

Pre-release disclaimer

This game is in a pre-release stage of development. This means that some parts of the game, including features like chat and multiplayer, might not function as expected. The game may even crash. Due to the fact this is a pre-release game, EA do not commit to providing customer support for the game.

This text is not seen in any prototypes or leaks (That show the title screen or game bootup) ingame. This dialog is a disclaimer if the builds during the game development are pre-release builds. This would be probably seen at game title screen.

Roadblock's been avoided.
They avoided the roadblock!
They saw the roadblock and went around!
They went around the spikestrip.

The game has strings for roadblock and spikestrip avoiding voicelines, but cops don't react to this because voicelines sounds container is empty.

Stealing A$AP Rocky's car

No problem I'll tell A$AP Rocky you don't want to get behind the wheel of his Mercedes.
Don't get worried about it kid. We were getting worried. Rocky thought you drove off with his whip

According to unused subtitles, there was a possibility chance to steal A$AP Rocky's car, meaning that he was going to be the game's antagonist of some sort.

A$AP Rocky's Racer SOS strings

Complete A$AP Rocky's Racer SOS
Completed A$AP Rocky's Racer SOS

The event exists in-game where Rocky is in need of help or trouble, though it doesn't act like other events in same mode, but those strings are not seen.
