Music Test

One night only!

Press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A at the publisher logo (Konami in the Japanese version, Palcom in the European one).

In Konami GB Collection, the Konami logos in all other games were removed, but the logo in Parodius was replaced by a fake "Now Loading" screen, presumably so there would still be a place to enter the code.

To access the hidden bonus level, in Level 3, go in the first pool of water in the ice cavern. This will avoid this level's boss fight.

Regional Differences

On the title screen, there is a difference in the gradient in the background between the two releases. Uniquely to the Game Boy version, the European title screen uses the Gradius-style logo of its MSX predecessor, rather than the logo found in other localised versions. The re-release on Konami GB Collection Vol. 2 for Game Boy Color in Europe would later use this logo instead.

Revisional Differences

As mentioned above, rather than simply removing the Konami/Palcom logos from the intro like other games in the Konami GB Collection series, the logos were replaced by a fake "Now Loading" screen, most likely to still leave room for the Konami Code.
