This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • Pre-release content in the reveal trailer:
    • The train station is more barebones.
    • The Green Hand assembly line is much simpler, and only one hand is shown instead of several.
    • The Musical Memory minigame uses the humanoid Daisy as its mascot, instead of Bunzo.
    • PJ Pug-A-Pillar sports a radically different design, looking more like a sad Wiggler.
  • Youtuber "PluffyFX", who worked as one of the game's animator, revealed an early version of the Poppy vent scene on their channel.

Poppy is back, and seemingly with a lot more scrapped content than Chapter 1 had.

Unused Models

Careful, you'll lose an eye.
This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.
Specifically: Create a gallery.

Present in the files are quite a few car models, including Sedans and police cars. The file names indicate these are 1980s cars and models.

This taxi is one of many assets/models left in the folders

Unused Animations

Huggy Wuggy Attacks

Two animations of Huggy swinging his left and right arm respectively, This was probably going to be used for the Multiplayer mode but ended up being unused entirely.

Trailer Animation

The trailer animation for Huggy being pulled away into the darkness still remains in the files.

Unused Textures

Red/GreenCircuitIcons

  • Leftover from Chapter 1, are these Icons of the Circuits you needed to obtain the Red Hand.

RedCircuitIcon-PP.png GreenCircuitIcon-PP.png

fire-png-transparent-1

  • A transparent image of fire. Likely a placeholder for the fire produced by the giant gear oven found near the end of the game.

CH1 Power Key Icon

  • Yet again, leftover from Chapter 1 is the Key Icon.

Developer Textures

There are a bunch of leftover dev textures, likely used as placeholders when creating maps or measuring stuff out.

Unused Videos

This is an early version of the Mommy Long Legs advertisement. Instead of using a unique theme, it uses a cover of "Itsy Bitsy Spider" by Little Richard. It was likely a placeholder until the final theme was finished. Interestingly, the instrumental was kept in the final, but pitched down.

An early version of the green hand VHS, which contains a different design of the green hand. There are also slight changes to the text and also completely different doors at the end.

Unused Audio

Everywhere At The End Of Time

In the files exists audio from the Caretaker album "Everywhere At The End Of Time". The music used is most likely used as an inspiration for the final music used in the game. There are currently two documented pieces found.

  • In the original Green Hand VHS tape, the song It's Just A Burning Memory plays, the early green hand VHS mentioned above uses it.
  • PJ Pug-a-Pillar's Introductory video, also uses this music.
