The ending theme isn't present in the game's sound test. However, there are two songs which aren't used anywhere in the game. One of them also goes unused in the Master System/Game Gear releases.

Unused Text

Sitting by themselves at address 0xBA8D are the strings "SOUND EFFECT" and "SOUND TRACK". These were probably early items for the menu, where "TEST SOUND EFFECT" and "TEST TUNE" are ultimately used.
