This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.

God Hand was announced on April 12th 2006. According to IGN's page for the game, it was 50 percent complete when given coverage by Famitsu Magazine. It would be released in America and Japan in Late 2006 and then in Europe in February 2007.

Hmmm...
To do:
Quite a bit:
  • Tokyo Game Show and Gamescom footage exist. Add these here.
  • There are two early gameplay videos from IGN from E3. 1 2
  • Compare the Japanese and International version footage. Some may need to be translated.
  • Try and find differences as best as possible.

E3 2006 Footage

This footage was played at E3 2006. It is also available to watch in the retail game by completing all 51 arena challenges.

  • The music tracks present in the trailer, Gene's-Rock-A-Bye and Broncobuster, sound notably different.
  • There is a counter underneath the map. It is unknown what this counter represents.
  • Some of Gene's voicelines when attacking enemies differs. Many enemies also feature different voice lines.
  • The building in Stage 1 where the first demon is encountered is entirely blue. In retail, the building has more detail and colors, such as blue and white portions with wooden supports.
    • The Saloon's texture is red in the footage, while in retail it is brown with more detail such as wood present on the building.
  • There is no throw command text and icon when holding weapons.
  • Lip-sync is absent from the Elvis boss fight cutscene.
  • When performing the stomp action, a finishing move such as a suplex, or being grabbed by an enemy, there are no button prompts.
    • Additionally, the Stinger finisher has a different camera angle.
  • Stage 6 appears to be missing the giant Elvis statue.
  • Instead of money being dropped by enemies, the money is automatically given to the player and "You Get" text is visible.

Cut Song

GOD TRACKS!, the original soundtrack for God Hand, features a song called "The Horror" that can't be found in the game files. It's unknown what it was going to be used for.
