A black and white photo of... the Scout from Team Fortress 2. Possibly a developer joke or a placeholder image.

Unused Data Values

General

  • Every Monster has Values for W/L Ratio's and Downs. W/L Ratio's is unused, while Downs is used but doesn't track properly.

Huggy Wuggy

  • In stats.json, There are 2 unused variables for Huggy Wuggy, one for Left Punches and Right Punches. The game still tracks this information, however it does not show up in-game.
		"Left Punches": "169.0",
		"Right Punches": "45.0",

Unused Subtitles

Monster Tutorial

Hmmm...
To do:
both this tutorial and Survivor have unused subtitles in the files, Audio probably remains too
"Put them down quickly. Run at them and squeeze them until they pop." - Cut Narrator Line
"Send them below." - Cut Narrator Line
"These doors delay the inevitable, but only for a few seconds." - Cut Narrator Line

General Text

"Send the Survivor to the Feeding Room." - Early Text for the Wuggy Pits
"“Coast is clear, get out of the box.”" - Used back when Lockers were boxes on the ground.

Security Camera Prompts

"Toggle Camera"
"to view Security Feed..."

Placeholder Text

Placeholder for the VHS Tape Descriptions

"VHS Tape information will go here. Maybe a description? When it was unlocked? Maybe."

Unused Maps

There are several developer testing and beta testing versions of the final maps in the game.

Recycle Mill

  • Added in the Valentines Update, this build had the first finished blockout of Map 03. With subsequent patches, the map got progressively more finished, now being part of the Multiplayer Sync and the Map List.

Blockout Maps

Blockout_01

  • A blockout for the Factory; the layout is pretty close to final with the exception of a few rooms not having been added in yet.

Blockout_07

  • A blockout for the Theatre; very little changed in terms of the layout, the Hall to the right went from being a reception desk to a storage area, and there is a (blocked off) 3rd Train Station Area, and the scrapped Security Cameras still exist in this map.

Developer Maps

Developer Text

Like with Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, this game also contains hidden development text cues in both the final and unused maps.

Wire Task

Similar to Among Us, This game at one point had a Wire Task. It handles exactly the same as that game, grab one end of the wire and drag it to the other.
