Game Boy Version

Included in the September 2020 lot check leak was an unreleased monochrome Game Boy version of 10-Pin Bowling. The released game was only compatible with the Game Boy Color.

  • Besides the additional detail, the title screen added the trademark.
  • The ball on the menu rotates differently.
  • Pressing any button advances the menu in the prototype, while the final only uses A.
  • Pressing A starts the throwing meter and pressing A again releases it. In the final, you are required to hold A until the marked section of the meter.
  • Pressing B during gameplay in the final version brings up the score card.

  • The credits scroll plays right before the menu, while the final version replaces the scroll with a single screen which appears after waiting on the menu.
