Buildings

The primary differences for the buildings in Mafia Town between the Beta builds and final game is that windows were added to a majority of them, to make use of the 'fake interior' system the final version has going on.

The swinging pirate ship from previous builds, updated since the Alphas. The pirate ship is normally unseen in the game due to being submerged in the ocean next to the Barrel Battle arena and stuck under the seafloor. A nearby Robo Mafia enemy is likely meant to raise it due to lights appearing above where the ship is once defeated, but it doesn't move. The primary changes to the model since the Alpha builds are mostly in regards to its LODs, which have gotten cleaner and more powerful since then. The Beta's pirate ship model is dated August 31 2014. Sometime after the Beta builds but before the final game, the model would be completely deleted, being absent even from the Modding Tools.

The tunnels used in the Spaceship at this point are still marked as placeholder in the model name. This model happens to still exist in the final game's Modding Tools, and is a later version of it. Comparing the two, the Modding Tools version is missing the tunnel that was present in the Trainwreck of Science telescope room in the Beta, indicating it was scrapped shortly after the Beta builds.

The planet seen from the Spaceship has numerous parts different from the final game's version. The most major difference is that Sand 'n Sails is present on the planet, which had not been replaced by Alpine Skyline yet, obviously. Thor's workshop is still present in Mafia Town, and some of the balloons that float around the town use different designs. The beach in Mafia Town was raised very slightly, and the platform for Mafia HQ was made rounder and smoother. A few branches on the trees in the Subcon Forest area were removed, and minor adjustments were made to the houses in the Subcon Village. The water material used for the ocean is also different.
