This page details one or more prototype versions of Atomic Heart.

A developer build of Atomic Heart dated November 7, 2022 was leaked online just three days before the game's official release. It contains a functional debug menu, a GameTune folder allowing modification of in-game difficulty, characters, weapons, and recipes inside the game files, and more.

Due to being an older build, there's some bugs, graphical glitches, and other such things that occur during gameplay.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Make the introduction clearly.
  • Document the debugging features and other stuff (including the Debug Gun).
  • documwnt text changes for items and quests aswell as subtitles
  • document all unused weapons and items using fmodel and UEtools
  • Document unused polygons and parts of main locations
  • Document unused enemys that can still be spanwed in using UEtools
  • document unused weapons and items only found in the files of this prototype such as the nailgun
  • document old npcs and cut quests
  • Document the blueprints since they contain unused items not referenced anywhere else like an energy drink

General Differences

  • Enemies are too strong and unbalanced.
  • Raytracing is broken. Forcing it through the developer console causes the game to crash.
  • DLSS 2 is used. The final game uses DLSS 3.
  • English, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese audio languages are included, although only the first two have complete voiceovers.

Cut Weapons

  • bidonist

The bidonist also known as the bin gun is a weapon only found by using console commands its a strange gun that fires some kind of explosive ball

Debug Menu

There are two debug menus:

  • One which allows you to navigate through levels, accessed through the main or pause menus.
  • The other has a lot of debug options, cheats, and other stuff. Can be accessed by pressing Backspace or holding D-Pad Up.

Present under the Feedback section on the right side is some Russian text. While its presence isn't too surprising given the game's setting, the text here translates to "If you'll not do right now, you'll fuck up the game."
