Three days after the previous prototype, music is sort of working.

General Differences

Doom32X-Menu99Proto.png
  • The game briefly displays a white screen behind the menu after the Sega logo, before loading E1M1.
  • There is a non-functional password option in the menu.
  • E1M1's music now plays. It is the only track and will play continuously. The music option in the menu will turn it off.
  • The game seems to crash when you and enemies have shot enough bullets.
  • In general, this version seems to crash more often than the previous build.

Note that the actual WAD data is bit-for-bit identical to the previous prototype. The only difference is missing padding at the end/

Music

As mentioned above, this build has a rendition of E1M1 that plays continuously (and is the only song in this build). However, it is different from E1M1's music in the final build. Some say that the music from this build is actually better than the final.
