  • Appears the rip.WAD file with dev assets is identical to the prototype, if anything from there isn't in the prototype (used or otherwise), move to a development page.

On December 26th, 2022, a prototype of Doom 64 was leaked onto 4chan alongside development assets. The prototype is dated December 10th, 1996 and appears to be for evaluation, judging from the text at the title screen.

  • Flashing light gray text saying EVALUATION VERSION is present at the top.
  • Text saying DOOM NINTENDO 64 ALPHA VERSION is present in the middle, replaced with the game's logo in final.

Selection Icon

The selection icon was previously the skull icon from previous games but later changed into an orange (and rotating) demon's head in the final.
